Haverford College’s Department of Anthropology is hiring three full-time leave-replacement visiting assistant professors for the academic year 2022/2023, including a position in visual anthropology.

- Visual Anthropology in conjunction with the Visual Studies Program. The successful candidate will teach at least one film production course (offered in the Fall) as well as elective courses of their own choosing. At least two courses will be cross-listed with the Visual Studies Program. Candidates should be comfortable advising undergraduate senior theses, including multimodal/film theses.
- Medical Anthropology. The successful candidate will teach a 200-level medical anthropology survey in the Fall and Spring, and elective courses that are suitable for cross-listing with the Health Studies Program. Candidates should be comfortable advising undergraduate senior theses.
- Socio-Cultural Anthropology. The successful candidate will be available to teach the Introduction to Anthropology in the Fall and Spring and should be comfortable advising undergraduate senior theses.
